Although these hospitals have excellent physicians and staff, they so often lack the necessary medicines to treat many types of cancers. NCC is helping to make a difference. ![]() |

Many of the state hospitals in El Salvador are in great need of cancer pharmaceuticals to treat both pediatric and adult patients. The National Cancer Coalition distributed chemo-therapies to three cancer hospitals where medicines will be distributed at no charge to suffering patients. | ![]() |

El Salvadoran Minister of Health Betancourt and U.S. Charge d’ Affairs
Philip French participate in NCC’s official hand-over of the donated
medicines to the public cancer hospitals of El Salvador. Through a partnership with the Ministry of Health and the Fundacion Ayudame A Vivir, the National Cancer Coalition gave hope and treatment to the needy cancer patients of El Salvador.

Result Because of the NCC's efforts, numerous pediatric
and adult cancer patients in El Salvador now have access to pharmaceuticals
that are crucial in their treatment of leukemia and solid tumors. |
