The Republic of Georgia

Donated medical goods to the republic of Georgia will assist hundreds in their medical treatment.

The Need

In the republic of Georgia, little of the medical resources that the government provides to health care are allocated to the cancer patients’ needs. In order to have basic hospital supplies and surgical equipment, the cancer hospitals of Georgia have to rely on help from outside the country. Much of the medical equipment in the National Oncology Center of Georgia is 30 to 40 years old and often not in proper working condition.
